The cottage is in the steading next to Kilmaronock Manse, which is home to the owners Maggi and Gordon Thomson. The steading was originally the stables, coach house and byre for the ministers who lived in the Manse from 1804. It has been refurbished to a high standard and offers, three bedrooms, two shower rooms and an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. There is ample accommodation for 6 people. There is a woodburning stove in the lounge of the cottage and fuel is included in the rental price. The cottage sits in a walled courtyard and has outdoor furniture and a gas barbecue.
